IDAHO FALLS — A 38-year-old man from Idaho Falls has been taken into custody following allegations that he raped a 16-year-old girl while they were engaged in playing video games. Shawn Lloyd Jones faces serious charges, including felonies for sexual battery of a child through lewd or lascivious acts, as well as sexual battery of a minor child.
According to court documents, the incident occurred during a gaming session at Jones's residence. The girl reported the assault to authorities, prompting an investigation that led to his arrest.
