IDAHO FALLS — A 38-year-old man from Idaho Falls has been taken into custody following allegations that he raped a 16-year-old girl while they were engaged in playing video games. Shawn Lloyd Jones faces serious charges, including felonies for sexual battery of a child through lewd or lascivious acts, as well as sexual battery of a minor child.
According to court documents, the incident occurred during a gaming session at Jones's residence. The girl reported the assault to authorities, prompting an investigation that led to his arrest. Police have stated that the investigation is ongoing, and they are working to gather additional evidence to support the case.
