This dynamic space is approaching its two-year anniversary, having opened its doors in February 2022.
Mordi Giday, a fourth-year finance major, highlights the importance of this facility in enhancing the student experience. “It’s not just about gaming; it’s about building friendships and networking with peers who share similar interests,” he explains. The Esports Room has quickly become a hub for both casual gamers and competitive players, offering a variety of gaming setups and tournaments that cater to all skill levels.
As the popularity of esports continues to rise, Seattle University’s commitment to providing a dedicated space for gaming reflects a broader trend in higher education.
