Chipotle integrates with another video game

Chipotle is expanding its presence in the gaming world once again, this time partnering with the upcoming golf simulation title PGA TOUR 2K25. The fast-casual chain announced a new promotion called "Chipotle Quests" that will be integrated directly into the game, offering players a chance to earn real-world free food and unlock exclusive digital items.

Starting with the game's launch, players who complete specific in-game challenges tied to the Chipotle brand will receive a reward code. This code can be redeemed for a free entree at participating Chipotle locations. In addition to the food offer, successful players will also unlock a unique set of virtual gear for their in-game golfer, including a branded shirt and a custom driver cover.

This is not Chipotle's first foray into video game crossovers. The chain has previously run similar promotions with titles like Fortnite and Roblox, aiming to connect with younger, digitally-native customers. By tying a physical reward to gameplay, Chipotle continues to blur the line between virtual achievements and real-world consumption. The PGA TOUR 2K25 promotion is expected to run for a limited time following the game's release, though the company has not specified an exact end date.
